HETAS Standards
HETAS is the official body recognised by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services
In order to help build up confidence in the woodfuel market, HETAS have developed a third party assurance scheme built on the CEN standards from CEN/TC 335, including CEN 14961, that allow the consumer to identify suitable, quality fuels for their application.

The scheme has been designed for firewood, wood chips, wood pellets and wood briquettes.
